Novartis Run

Awhile back Brittany brought up the idea of running in a road race. Neither one of us had done it before but we thought it would be a challenge for us. I've worked out on the treadmill for quite a while now and I knew I could do it, starting at the 2-mile mark. So today was the event at Holmes Lake. It was a lot of fun. It was great being cheered on by people that didn't even know who you were. I think we finished in a time of like 18:14. It was pretty windy when we turned the corner to run by Holmes Lake. But other than that it was pretty easy. But it was great to accomplish something like this. I'll never forget it.

Name: Brian Reetz

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
