Oh what a win and atmosphere

There was very little pre-game buzz yesterday but I still thought we could win. (See my 24-21 prediction from yesterday).

We took a different route to the stadium from the county-city lot. Down through campus by where I teach to take in different sites and then to the Husker Nation Pavilion and met up with Nunez and fam. I think that is what makes it unique. You can spend some time in a restaurant before the game, or go to a tailgate or the pavilion.

We made our way into the stadium and there were a lot more people in there than usual an hour before the game. And then the buzz started picking up. It is OU-NU after all. We sat around some great people this week. That really hasn't happened so far this year.

Then it just kept building and building. There was a great pre-game video before the tunnel walk. I wish I could find it somewhere. It was the whole day by day thing and inspirational.

Then the game begin and you couldn't help but feel something special with this defense. There are playmakers all over the field. Dillard, Prince, and a guy named Suh!!!

We just keep believing and yelling and screaming and clapping and when it was all said and done, bedlam reigned!!!! The players even leaped into the stadium right in front of us. Crazy!! You could tell it meant a bunch to them.

What a great win....GBR!

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
