Teaching to resume

After a crazy Christmas break that has seen more snow than the history of the world, classes resume at UNL this week. I spent most of the week in preparation for it but it looks like it will be a smaller, more comfortable class. The classroom isn't as big either this semester so I'm hopeful to have a good group to work with.

We had a nice birthday party with Lyndsey, Colbi and Skye. It got a little rowdy at times which was great. I don't remember laughing that hard outloud in a long time.

It was Colbi's 15th birthday this week. Hard to imagine!

I started training for the half marathon in May. The first week wasn't too bad except for the longer run on the treadmill yesterday. I hate running inside but it's something I have to learn do deal with for awhile.

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
