What a week!

I think things are going to calm down soon but what a week.

I went off to western Nebraska at the start of the week for work. That included a stop in Kearney for a round of golf in Overton with Buck. Then it was off to Gothenburg for a visit with Green Site's Josh Mahar at Wild Horse and a round of 18 with Frank and Dallas, two guys I met on the course. Then Wednesday I met up with Mark for a round in Scottsbluff before departing for Sidney. Then it was a drive across the state (with a stop at Bayside) to get back in time for my first Drawing the Line event at the Haydon where I was a bartender. Saturday was the funeral of my uncle Lavern, who I loved dearly. Then it was off for a trip to Colorado to see Greg and run in the Bolder Boulder. Bret and I went to the Rockies-Dodgers game on Sunday too. Then we returned home on Monday afternoon. Wow!

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
