MidAugust

It's been super hot in the great state of Nebraska. It was even hotter when we ventured down to Dodge City. We finally got back after being gone from there for 10 years. It was great. The town looked really good from the casino to the wider streets to boot hill and all of the rest. Got to see some friends I haven't seen in a long, long time.

Bret and I also got to golf in Minden recently. Let's see what else. There is Eiro, which is starting to hop. Finally got to spend some time with the Nunez family. A good friend of the family, Joyce Beck, died.

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
