new Trojans

One of my favorite things to read in the Journal-Star each Saturday morning now is Larry the Cable guy's predictions. It's fun reading someone that is actually funny and not trying to be cutesy. I don't think I'll go as far as his prediction does this week but I also think Nebraska takes out Troy early in this one. Yes, I know they played with both Florida State and Georgia Tech but you have to assume that the Yellow Jackets thought the Seminole game was a fluke, but the Huskers know better. I'll be watching it from the comfort of home and my big screen. Nebraska 48, Troy 17.

I like the photos to go with your comments. I do a pickem pool at work here at the Daily Breeze and I picked Nebraska to cover the spread of 21.5 (it may have changed). So I'll say Nebraska 37, Kansas 10. I hope mine is closer than Sipple's.

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
