For an assignment for L magazine, I got the chance to meet and spend some one on one time with Husker volleyball coach John Cook today.
The story is mostly going to focus on his ability to motivate players and people. I think many of the readers of the magazine would enjoy that aspect of him, rather than just volleyball talk.
One of the books that he is going to give his team to read (and has in the past) is The Winner Within by Pat Riley. I'm going to go get one from the store -- you should too!
