We had a great time at the iUniverse holiday party last night at the N Zone. We got to know quite a few people from work and their spouse or boyfriend/girlfriend. I competed in the iU idol competition. I sang "Friends in Low Places". I was the first one to sing and I thought that put me at a disadvantage and that ended up being the case as I finished second to a music major, how fair is that? But the night kept getting better. Carl, our intern, and I sang "Cowboy" by Kid Rock together and that was fun and then moments after that the grand prize was given out. Both Lori and I were using "The Secret" and it worked as we came away with a Wii gaming system. Sweet prize. I texted Colbi saying that we won it and she just replied "R U Serious" and I said yes. I get it on Monday so there will be some sleepless nights around our house for awhile.
