State Champs

Bret is a part of back-to-back state championships. The Pound Archery team won the state tournament on Saturday at the Lancaster Event Center on Saturday. So proud of him and his achievement. He shot a 220 that place him in the upper third of the event.

Colbi had a great vocal concert on Tuesday night. She also found out this week that she made Queen's Court at Southeast. It's a varsity choir so she will be singing with girls from all grades next year. It's my favorite group at with the Knights so I'm super proud of her as well.

I'm still working toward the marathon on May 2. Today I will run 9 miles in preparation. It's going very well and I'm just anxious for the weather to stay warm. It seems so much easier on my body.

Oh and my mom celebrated her birthday this week! Happy Birthday!

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
