Week in review

Another crazy week has gone by...how do they get this way?

Sunday the Nunez, Moore and Nelson came over to eat more cheese and drink more wine. Yes it got a little crazy but isn't that the way life is supposed to be?

Monday, Jamie and I took off for a trip to Kearney. The first day was a Wellhead Protection Network meeting where I learned a lot and we talked more about the message of the group. Then on Tuesday, I presented early in the day and then had a chance to listen to others during the NRD Water Programs Conference. I learned a lot. Thanks to Gary Brienzo for taking over my class at UNL while I was gone for the day.

When I got back to the office for The Groundwater Foundation, the next three days were wall to wall busy. We are prepping for National Groundwater Awareness Week (this week coming up) and then rolling out our "Let's Keep It Clean" program. We have done a lot of prep work and I hope it pays off. There will be radio spots on the Rural Radio Network. There will be a TV spot on 10/11. I will try and post some of them to the blog too. I've tried to embed one.

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
