Roar restored

Remember the Huskers' rally cry, "Restore the Order". Well the Missouri Tigers have "Restore the Roar". I'm not that they they ever had a roar before but oh well what ever they are doing now works. Man, they were incredible last night. They made some awesome throws, great catches and stuff everything our offense was trying to do. Coach Callahan promised that we would take what we want on offense. That is exactly what Missouri seemed to be able to do last night. That 3-3-5 defense that we used last year Missouri was obviously prepared for this season so I was shocked that we didn't try to mix it up but I'm sure it's hard to switch a game plan so quickly down 14-0. I was kind of disappointed in the fake field goal by MU up 34-6 in the fourth quarter and especially Coach Pinkel laughing about it on the sideline. Oh well if you can't run up and stuff it then I guess it is on us. I've read the paper this morning and so it's time to move on. Bring on the Cowboys!

ADDITION: I got to go for a run again this morning. It was a good one all of the way down to the 27th street bridge and then looping over by Star City Shores and then back home. I did it in 29:56.

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
