interesting night

We had an interesting night on Friday night. Colbi came home from basketball practice and said someone had stolen her cellphone. She and a couple of friends confronted the person that they thought did it at school but the girl denied it. After discussion at home we decided to call the police. They came over and talked with us and Colbi shared her recollection of the events. Then the officer went and talked to another person and then finally to the one they suspected. At first she lied but then she finally said she had it. So we got it back later last night. It was good and the officer did a great job and was super nice about it all. The girl is going to be charged with larceny, which will probably amount to some community service. We did want to get the police involved but after the girl lied to Colbi twice we figured we didn't have much of a choice.

Then on Saturday night, Colbi's team went out and beat Lux in girls basketball 30-5. It was another good performance by the girls.
