I went with Nicki and Adam (who will be husband and wife next weekend) to the Matt Nathanson concert at Knickerbonkers tonight. It was a great show. Joshua James, who is guess is originally from Lincoln and went to Southeast, opened for them. He has a very distinctive voice and could be pretty good in the future.
As for Matt, he was everything I was hoping it would be. He sounded great live but the first CD I have of him was live so I wasn't expecting anything less. He played old stuff, new stuff, some Duran Duran and some Rick Springfield "jessie's girl".
If you don't have Some Mad Hope yet get online and buy it now! Come on Get Higher, Car Crash, right there is some great music.
