Great weekend

It was a great weekend capped off my an impressive Husker win over hapless Iowa State. I like being able to roll out of bed and watch the Huskers play that well. Next week we are going with Ron and Shellie to the game so we will probably have to get up a little bit earlier. I hope they can do the same thing to the Baylor Bears.

After the game Bret and I challenged Colbi and one of the neighbor girls, Jenna, to a game of football. We crushed them. They finally gave up when we were ahead 42-7. I think I need to teach Colbi a little something about football. Bret, on the other hand, would make a good receiver. I'm going to try and talk him into playing flag football next year. He's quick.

I got through the proofing for Michigan after the game and then we had a night meal out as a family on Saturday night at BW3's.

A certain Yankee pitcher was at church on Sunday. Unfortunately he is going through a tough time after picking up a DUI on Saturday morning. Oh well we all make mistakes.

Colbi and I hung out at SouthPointe on Sunday afternoon. I love her personality. She is really fun to be around one on one like that. We went to a few different shops, shared an ice cream and such. She's really growing into a good one.

I'm take a trip to Northeast Nebraska for a couple of days for NET. We will see how prepared they are for the transition.

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
