week flying by

This week is just flying by but I guess that what happens when you are busy. My sister had surgery on Monday at Bryan and she gets to go home today! Yea! She is excited about that! I'm glad that she is doing well.

We had a big meeting on Tuesday and the Lincoln area is going to go around the time that we thought. Someone had given some thought that we might get to wait until Feb. 17, 2009 but it's not going to happen. So we will be shutting off the analog on Nov. 5th, right after the election. I've had one presentation in town, another one in Crete and another one today at Gere. Then tomorrow I travel Auburn.

I've also had a lot of proofing to work on for the journal out of Michigan. It's been very time consuming but enjoyable. It's all about human resources and different trends. It's fun to read about each of the cases.

I need to read my students' research papers before the end of the morning hopefully or finish them up tonight so I can get them back to them tomorrow.

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
