Our 15th anniversary

We made a day of it on Saturday and our key was to Relax and no TV. After the celebration for Cinco de Mayo on Saturday night, we woke up late on Saturday morning and walked down to Braeda for some Miller and Paine Cinnamon Rolls and some coffee. Yummm. We finally got a bench for the yard that is cool (it takes us forever to decide on a purchase like that). During our time at SouthPointe we decided to stop in for some diet coke at Old Chicago. Then we started to get hungry and got some Italian Nachos! Yummm. We purchased tickets for Spiderman 3, which ended up being a good idea because it would sell out. We then made our way out to Roca's Bed and Breakfast. It's a nice, quaint place and is in the upstairs (see photo). We popped open a bottle of wine called Relax and read outloud from the book, The Secret. After we finished the bottle of wine and some Pepper Jack cheese and Club crackers, we headed back into Lincoln. We then went to Spiderman 3, it would have to get a thumbs down from me but we had some popcorn. The place was packed but the movie was too sappy. We then were kind of hungry (it was 9 p.m.) so we stopped at Chili's and had a quick bite. We then drove back to Roca and opened two more bottles of wine Menage a Trois and Edelweiss. Yumm...This morning we got up late and then heated up the breakfast that we made for us, french toast stuffed with chocolate. Yumm...As you can tell we didn't go much without food even though we didn't eat some true meals. It was a great 15th anniversary celebration!

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
