good weekend

Well it's been a weekend full of basketball. Friday night I met Zack at Heidelburg's and we watched a ton of games. I hope his jog back to his car on Saturday morning went OK. My bracket is doing OK. Colbi's is shot with Duke losing.

Saturday we went to the in-laws for our annual easter dinner and egg hunt. We have to unscramble the letters in messages and then find the ultimate prize at the end. It's fun. Plus we watched a lot of basketball. Then we met the other side of the fam at Red Robin for a good supper for me of towering onion rings and soup. Colbi went to A&R, of course.

Then last night it was the hiding of the easter eggs at the house as the tradition lives on. I'm glad the Easter Bunny is still coming to the house. I made two eggs, one with the KC royals logo on it, the other with the New York Yankees logo but I dipped both of them in Royal Blue. I hope Colbi likes that!

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
