Anything but a lazy Sunday

I had a couple of new experiences today.

To start off the morning I worked in the Nebraska Broadcasters' Association booth at the Nebraska State Fair. I worked the Make a Wish booth a few years ago with Lori and the kids but this was different. It wasn't very busy when I was there from 9:30-12:30. People had many of the same questions that they have when I give presentations. Each person seems to have a different issue that they deal with in regards to the transition to digital television. I hope people don't get too frustrated with it all.

Then after that I was able to meet my new wish kid, Nick. He is a super nice kid with a hyperness that will be fun to be around. I have some thoughts on how to enhance his wish, which will probably be a trip to Disney World. He's never been on a plane before and he is a big fan of leggos and they have a store in Downtown Disney that I'm sure that he will enjoy.

I resume teaching tomorrow so I've been getting ready for that today too. I cut back my hours some at NET but I'm sure I will stay super busy. Just the way that I like it!

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
