The run this Saturday is by Holmes Lake so I went out there to run some of the route this morning. I ran for nearly 33 minutes but I wanted to be fairly tired when I ran up the big hill by the dam. So I started close to the softball fields and then ran down the hill and toward the post office on 48th. Then I turned around and came back. It was a bit of a struggle at the top and then for the first few steps after but then it felt even better. I believe that the race will end there as you go downhill into the park. My lungs held up ok. Now the true test will be on Saturday. I'm sure the rain will hold off.
It's my place to call home. I'm going to share my thoughts on my work, the Huskers and the rest of my great life.
