the week ahead

I'm anxious for a great week. The students give speeches this week and I tape them so I can point out the areas they need improvement for their final speeches. It should be interesting as we gear up for the final days of the semester. I can't believe it has gone so fast.

Saturday is my first 10K of the season. It takes place around Holmes Lake. This sickness has hurt my lungs I'm sure but I'm sure it has given me my legs back too so that will be good. I'm going to try and run like 3 miles on Wednesday and that will give me a good feel for where I'm at.

Saturday is the Red-White Spring Game. I'm looking forward to it. It's always great to see the young players coming up for the Huskers. Plus it is a chance to take the kids to the stadium and see the Huskers since it is so hard to do during the season.

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
