I've decided to change my running pattern since I'm not training for anything right now. The plan is to run a long route, 3 miles or more, on Sunday's and then run one other time during the week. So today I ran the 3 miles. I tried to keep a fairly slow pace but when I was finished I ran it in 26:18, which kind of shocked me.
As for the Huskers, I was happy with the number of big plays they had yesterday. That is what has been missing. To see Grixby and Ruud makes plays was great. Well at least listen to them. I guess what listening to the game on the radio (and it really wasn't that bad) allowed me to watch other teams on TV with more interested. I was shocked by OU losing at CU. Folks, CU isn't very good. They didn't do much right in that game. OU looked horrible. I'm a big OU fan too but Stoops just didn't have them ready to play fourth quarters. Yes I know CU usually gives up when they get that far behind but when was the last time a key OU player made a major mistake like Reggie Smith did dropping a punt with 4 minutes left. All OU would have had to do is run the ball with their 2009 Heisman winner Murray and the game would have been over! As for next week against Missouri, I present last year's stats. Sure Missouri will be able to move the ball but so will the Huskers offense. I see a lot that I like in those stats and I can assure you that the Missouri defense isn't any better. Look at the chart after the stats as well.
