We held our annual draft in Kearney this weekend. It is a good time to meet up with friends that I usually only see once a year. At the Saturday night get together at venue were Buck, Gene, Mark and Doug. We had a good time sharing stories. The draft was bright and early on Sunday morning. It turned into a 6-hour draft. Some people take way too long to make their picks, but I'm ok with that. It's just once a year anyway. I got Rickie Weeks and Yunel Escobar in the first round. They were both young players that I was targeting so I'm glad that it worked out that I could get them both. I don't know how my team will be this year. I hoping to have a fun year but some of the top teams might be too dominating to pass up.
