Good day

Pastor talked in church on Sunday about what a tough week it was last week for him. Bad news seemed to be around every corner but if you trust in Christ everything will turn out just fine, the Good Shepherd.

I got a lot of work done this morning. I finished up my Novartis story for L, worked in the Star titles for iU, worked on a bio and a web site for another project so all is good. I set up a time to meet with the people at Shoemaker's for an L story due in June.

Late this afternoon I got in a run to 56th and Hwy. 2 and that went well. I ran it in 29:18, which I believe is my best time this Spring. That is around 3 miles and now I need to double that for the Havelock run at the first of June. I need to slowly go up to it starting soon. If I can add five minutes each week I will be right where I need to be for that Saturday morning.

Good for you on the run! I hate running. I like walking fast, though. ;-)

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
