Laura Saf

Yesterday afternoon, I got to spend some time with Laura Saf, who is on the women's executive committee with the USGA. We talked golf for like an hour and a half. What a great time. We did it while sitting in the clubhouse at Firethorn overlooking the 18th fairway and green. It really gave me the itch to play golf. I can't wait much longer.

I am not a fan of golf. In my defense, I actually did try it one time. The only part I liked was teeing off. I can hit it with the big club a lot better than all those other, er, little clubs. Yeah. I'm sure that's what they're called. ;-)

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
