good weekend

It was an interesting weekend without any Husker football. I feel pretty good about next week's game with Virginia Tech now though. I think our offense is much better than the Hokies and if we play well on special teams we should win by more than 14 points.

We had a nice trip to coco key in Omaha even though I kind of got lost on some dirt roads heading back to Lincoln. I figured at some point we would run into the interstate again but oh well we made it home fine. We ate supper at Cheesburger in Paradise and that was great! I bet it is a fun atmosphere later at night with the live band on stage. We will have to do that some time. It's located in Village Pointe if you get a chance to go out that way. Colbi got to meet up with her friend Sara that moved to Elkhorn a few years ago.

Today we had the Mundt reunion at the Kramer Church. It was good to see some people that I haven't seen for a couple of years.

Well I need to finish up grading these student papers. Just a couple more to go. Their speeches for the first ones were good. Just a few things to work on getting ready for the second speech in a couple of weeks.

Cheeseburger in Paradise? Wow. That sounds like it will clog your arteries! ;-)

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
