I finally got a chance to finish In Cold Blood this weekend. It was nice to just relax and finish reading it (even though it didn't have a relaxing ending). It was good to read a classic. I wasn't too thrilled with how the ending was written though but I understand why it was written the way it was. Having living in Kansas for awhile it was interesting to hear about the different parts of the state from a different perspective. I'd like to get back to Dodge City some day since the kids were born there. Maybe a trip to Holcomb and the Valley View cemetery in Garden City is in the cards as well.
