Best five-mile run time

I decided to run the five miles today because my fantasy baseball draft is next weekend in Scottsbluff and I don't know if I will be able to get away to run. I will try to run a longer one on Friday but if I get busy it might not happen.

Any who! I ran it in 47:54. More than four minutes faster than my best time ever. I must have had just the right pace in just the right weather because it felt so right!

Nope. I think I could have gone longer yet. But just getting ready for the 10K.

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
