The week that was

Wow this week has gone super fast but I guess its just from being so busy and having the kids home with me as well. They of course are bored out of their gourd as we used to say.

I've gotten in three treadmill runs this week since the weather hasn't been too beautiful outside. I was hoping for today but when I came out of class it was too chilly. Speaking of class, the students are doing their grant proposal speeches right now...a couple of good ideas today...working on converting an entire town to the new type of light bulb to save energy cost as an Ambert Alert system for companion pets.

I had an interview for a job with the EPSCoR office at UNL this week. I should find out in a few weeks if I am the choice. I'm one of six finalists for the position.

I met with a guy today and we are going to teaching journalism to a group of students after school at Adams Elementary starting on Monday. That should be fun. I guess it is a group of like 7 or 8.

Oh and I got to go to the dentist yesterday. Super great. Sarcasm! But on a better note, one of my best friends, Mark, was through town on Wednesday night and we got to get together for supper at Carlos' Yumm...Off the meal plan for training but I tried to do my best. Less than two weeks until my NL Fantasy Draft. Should be interesting.

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
