Great week

It's been a great and busy week so far. I'm been busy reading and writing, reading and writing.

I finished my story about red9 in Lincoln. You can read that story in the next month of L magazine.

It was weird last night without basketball practice for the first time in ages. I miss it though and so does Bret. He's really into basketball right now. It's a lot of fun talking with him about it all.

It's supposed to get to 70 degrees here today so I'm planning on running five miles. April 18 and the Novartis run is getting closer and closer. I'm going to have to go into major training mode in a couple of weeks.

UPDATE: I ran the five miles in 55:32, exactly what I ran it in the first time I ran this year. Wish I could have gone a second quicker.

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
