Nice long weekend

We took a trip to the western part of Nebraska for a long weekend. We stayed at the farmhouse of my brother-in-law and sister-in-law and their kids. We had a great time. It was time for Lori's 20th high school reunions in both Beaver City, Nebraska and Phillipsburg, Kansas. Here is a video of the nieces.

The younger kids worked on building a fort. Here is Bret inside of it.

Here is a photo of Lori's high school graduating class from Beaver City. I believe there were 18 in the class and eight came to the reunion that was attended by nearly 250 people from all of the classes. Beaver City High School no longer exists because it became part of Southern Valley. I've also include a photo of the gym where she was a stud basketball player and her by the track records. If you blow it up, you will see that her name is forever entrenched on that list.

I've included a few random photos including the road that I ran for 50 minutes on. It was very hilly out there compared to the bike paths of Lincoln.

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
