Sunday with Colbi

So today was a good day. I got up and mowed which I always secretly enjoy even though it can be tiring in this heat. Then I took the kids out to eat at BK since Lori was at work. This afternoon was mucho boring so I vacuumed. Nothing like beating boredom by vacuuming. After supper I went for a run. I ran the route out to 56th Street and I ran it hard! I made the turn in 12 minutes but supper, the mowing and the the heat caught up to my pride and I had to stop and walk for a little bit before I started going again. Then I had to stop again but then ran the rest of the way home. After all that I still ran it in 26:12. My goal on that run is to be under 25 so I felt pretty good. I can't wait till cooler weather, not cold cool, comes.

Oh by the way, the Huskers play their first game this Saturday. I will be making my prediction by the end of the week. I'm leaning towards a Husker win. :-) We will be at the game. Yes!

This video is of my daughter, Colbi, enjoy! Blogger just started making these available so will be doing more in the future too of myself.

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
