I'm not a big fan of watching the weather. My wife nearly broke up with me (well actually she did but I found a way to get her back in college) when thoughts about the weather came up once. But that is a whole other story. Anyway, this morning driving over to work on I-180 there was this huge wall cloud on the north side of town. I don't know if you saw it but it was great. I wanted to stop and take a photo but I kept thinking I could get to Fallbrook and shoot it but then it was right above me sadly so I couldn't do it. As I turned the corner to work I got caught up in some kind of tornadic event. There was this spray paint can that had been on the ground for days and the next thing I knew it came whizzing at my car and clanged on the bottom of it. Scary stuff. The trees were whipping around and I saw the clouds swirling. Then 10 seconds later. Nothing!
ADDITION: I didn't think it was ever going to stop raining to let me run again. But it kind of did so I took off at around 7:30 in a light rain. It felt good but after the first .3 mile it stopped. I would have liked it to keep going. I ended up running 30:55, which put me over the 27th Street bridge but just barely. It was a good run though.
