new best five mile run

I ran it in 51:55. Not bad for a still fairly warm day and the first day of non-daylight savings time.

Ugh...what about that OU game last night? Like Bo said, it's time to move on. I thought if we won that game it would be a miracle but I hated to see what happened to us in the first quarter. If we wouldn't have had those early turnovers I think we could have moved the ball on OU and not let them run up the score quickly. What if we had pump faked on that first pass? Nate Swift would have been wide open deep when the OU defender jumped the route. What if they run the fumble a non-fumble by Dreu? We would have a least gotten to punt the ball away. You have to love Roy Helu. No quit in that kid. He saw an opportunity and grabbed it. He should see a lot of playing time in the last four games...yes I said four because we will go to a bowl game. I thought the defense kept playing too but their schemes just broke down. We need another offseason to get that corrected.

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
