Jam Session

Well we did it. For the first time Bill, Zack and I played in front of a live audience. Just it was just Bill's drunk neighbors and their kids but I think it counts. We played Free Fallin' by Tom Petty and I have to say that we rocked it. We did a good job as they song along for the most part. There were about 20 people there so the open mic night isn't very far off. We started off the night by going to Dino's for some great food and drinks. We practiced a bunch of different songs, including Wild Thing, but then settled on Free Fallin' for the performance.

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
