new restaurant

We went to the opening of a new restaurant last night. It's called Dino's and is located near the corner of 84th and Van Dorn. We were invited to the special night because Lori's big boss is one of the owners. I would equate it to an upscale Brewsky's. It has a nice vibe to it. At the urinals, there are individual TVs so when you go in, if any of them are open, you can choose the channel that you want to watch. There are also video games for kids and a special party room that I've sure we will use in the future. The food was great as well. We had the beer cheese appetizer and then I had the chipolte mexican personal pizza and lori had the chicken pesto pizza. Good times!

It takes me all of 25 seconds (just an estimation) to use the urinal. I can't imagine I'll have much time to watch TV. Maybe someday when my prostate begins acting up it will take longer.

So it begins...

My schedule starts picking up again today as the class I teach at UNL (JGen 300) starts. I'm teaching on Tuesday's and Thursday's this semester from 9:30-10:45. I hope I have a great class like last semester. We will see. This will be my third semester teaching the class so I feel a lot more comfortable heading into it. I have all of the weeks figured out and the days will be much busier because I'm trying to pack the three days into two. Maybe one of the students will bring me an apple!
